Derived from the words ‘Kalam’ and ‘Kari’, which translate to pen and craftsmanship respectively, the art of Kalamkari dates back to several centuries and is believed to have first originated in Iran about 2500 years ago. Only natural dyes are used in Kalamkari, which involves twenty-three steps. History has it that Kalamkari has been in existence in India since the last 2000 years and in two unique styles, the block-printed as well as the hand-painted variety. The block-printed variety is manufactured largely in Pedana, Krishna District of Andhra Pradesh. Our products are exported directly from the source, Pedana, Krishna District of Andhra Pradesh.
Bed Sheets/ Pillow Covers and Cushion Covers: We export Kalamkari Bedsheets, Pillow cover and Cushion covers. The bed sheet combinations are available in two standard sizes along with pillow covers viz., Queen Size and King Size.
Ethnic Wear: We export Kalamkari Dress material and Sarees.
